3D Editor Overview

The SphereLinks 3D editor is a browser-based scene composition tool built on Three.js and React. It allows you to build complete 3D scenes by importing generated models, primitive shapes, lights, and cameras — all without installing any software.

The SphereLinks 3D editor is a browser-based scene composition tool built on Three.js and React. It allows you to build complete 3D scenes by importing generated models, primitive shapes, lights, and cameras — all without installing any software.

Opening the editor

From the dashboard, click Projects → New Project, or open an existing project. You can also jump directly into the editor after a successful generation by clicking Open in Editor.

Editor layout

  • Viewport — The central 3D canvas. Left-click drag to orbit, right-click drag to pan, scroll to zoom.

  • Hierarchy panel (left) — Lists all objects in the current scene. Click to select, drag to reorder.

  • Properties panel (right) — Shows transform, material, and geometry controls for the selected object.

  • Top toolbar — Access tools for adding objects, toggling lights, and saving.

Supported objects

  • Imported GLB models — Generated models or any GLB file uploaded from disk.

  • Primitives — Box, sphere, cylinder, plane, torus.

  • Lights — Ambient, directional, point, spot.

  • Camera — Scene camera with FOV and position controls.

Saving your project

Projects are saved to the cloud automatically when you click Save (or press Ctrl / Cmd + S). Projects are listed in the Projects section of the dashboard.
