Objects are the building blocks of every scene. This guide covers adding, selecting, transforming, and organising objects in the editor.
Adding objects
Click the + Add button in the toolbar and choose from the submenu:
Import GLB — Upload a GLB file from your computer.
Primitive — Insert a Box, Sphere, Cylinder, Plane, or Torus.
Light — Add an Ambient, Directional, Point, or Spot light.
Selecting objects
Click any object in the viewport or click its name in the Hierarchy panel. The selected object is highlighted with an orange outline. Hold Shift and click to multi-select.
Transforming objects
With an object selected, use the Properties panel on the right to adjust:
Position — X, Y, Z coordinates in world space.
Rotation — Euler angles in degrees.
Scale — Uniform or per-axis scaling.
You can also drag objects directly in the viewport when the Move gizmo is active.
Duplicating and deleting
Right-click an object in the Hierarchy panel and select Duplicate or Delete.
Press Del or Backspace to delete the selected object.
Visibility and locking
The eye icon next to each object in the Hierarchy toggles its visibility. The lock icon prevents accidental selection and transformation in the viewport.
Renaming objects
Double-click an object's name in the Hierarchy panel to rename it. Descriptive names make complex scenes much easier to manage.
